Salisbury University is a highly accredited four-year institution that offers over 50 different graduate and undergraduate programs to both local and international students alike. Located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Salisbury University's stunning campus is perfectly located between the relaxed atmosphere of Ocean City and the excitement of Baltimore City. Salisbury University, as a whole, encompasses the beauty and passion that its staff and students hold for the institution and all it stands for.
Since being founded as a two-year teacher training institution on September 7, 1925 by the University's first President, Dr. William J. Holloway, Salisbury University has flourished into a four year university of national distinction. The University is now made up of four distinct schools; Fulton School of Liberal Arts, Henson School of Science and Technology, Perdue School of Business, and Seidel School of Education and Professional Studies. Over recent years the University has upgraded their facilities with the completion of the Teacher Education and Professional Studies Center in 2007, the installation of a two story parking garage in 2009, the addition of the new Seagull Square residence hall in 2001, as well as the completion of the New Perdue Business School, the breaking of ground in 2014 for the new Patricia R. Guerri Academic Commons, and most recently the breaking of ground for the new Seagull Stadium and upgraded athletics facilities.
